* This is an introductory, foundational course and does not qualify for continuing education with the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
Each module has a mandatory end-of-module test that you must complete successfully before you can book your final exam. You are permitted three attempts to pass each test. You need a minimum score of 60% on each end-of-module test and also on the final exam to pass the course. The final exam covers all of the course material.
If you plan to sit for a provincial LLQP examination for a life insurance license, you must first complete all the modules required within the LLQP Insurance Course.
Successful completion of the LLQP Insurance Course entitles you to write the provincial LLQP exam in order to obtain a life insurance license. Make certain to enrol in the LLQP course that meets your licensing requirements.
You have up to one year after successfully completing all the modular exams to sit for the corresponding provincial licensing exams. However, it is recommended that you sit for the corresponding LLQP exam as soon as possible after successful completion of the course so that your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter is fresh and current.
