2022

April 25:
MASK MANDATES: As of May 1, 2022, CSI and Prometric will no longer require masks in test centres. However, you will be required to continue wearing masks depending on your province/country’s regulations. Please check with your local government about these restrictions before arriving for your exam, as the test centre will follow their requirements.

March 18:
MASK MANDATES: While some governments have lifted mask mandates, CSI will continue to require masks for in-person exams at our test centres until at least May 1 for the health and safety of our students and staff. Students also have the option to challenge their exams via remote proctoring.

2021

September 29:
PROOF OF VACCINATION: Government guidelines and regional mandates are beginning to require proof of vaccination to enter certain sites—these include some of our in-person exam centres. View the exam centres where proof of vaccination is required. If you do not have vaccination documentation, we recommend you challenge your exam via remote proctoring. June 15:
IMPORTANT: CSI has resumed all in-person exams at the exam centre of the CSI -Toronto office (200 Wellington Street W.)

April 16:
IMPORTANT: CSI has cancelled all in-person exams at the exam centre of the CSI -Toronto office (200 Wellington Street W.) between April 19 and June 7, 2021. We will reach out to all impacted students with more information. All other exam locations remain open. We will continue to post further updates on this page.

January 14:
IMPORTANT: Further to new restrictions set by the Ontario government, CSI will continue to offer exams in test centres throughout Ontario.

January 8:
IMPORTANT: Further to new restrictions set by the Quebec government, CSI will continue to offer exams in Quebec. However, the evening sessions at our Montreal location will be cancelled due to the curfew. We will contact impacted students directly to make alternative arrangements.

2020

November 22:
IMPORTANT: CSI is monitoring the latest COVID-19 restrictions and following the guidelines set by local health authorities in different regions. If you have not received a cancellation email from CSI, your exams will run as scheduled. You can reschedule your exam at no additional cost by emailing us at exam_scheduling@csi.ca if you prefer not to attend your in-person exam at this time.

November 13:
IMPORTANT – Manitoba has officially entered Code Red restrictions; as of November 12, 2020, CSI has cancelled all exams in the province until further notice. We will reach out to impacted students with more information. Please contact us at customer_support@csi.ca if you have any questions or concerns.

November 2:
Introducing Computer-Based Testing via Remote Proctoring and Exam Centres.

October 9:
IMPORTANT: As new restrictions come into effect in Ontario at 12:01 am on Saturday, October 10, 2020, students scheduled to write their exams in certain locations in the province may be affected. CSI will reach out to the impacted students with alternative options. Please contact us at customer_support@csi.ca if you have any questions or concerns.

June 19:
Exams are now available in more locations.

May 15:
Exams to resume in limited locations.

April 20:
Beginning April 22, 2020, our Customer Support Team will be temporarily working reduced hours. They will be available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm EST.

March 27:
Since the CSI staff is working remotely, we request that you do not send any documentation or forms via fax, courier or postal mail.

March 24:
Payment through Certified cheques and Money Orders have been temporarily suspended until further notice.

March 19:
CSI in discussion with regulators to accommodate students impacted by delayed exams.

March 16:
All CSI exams suspended in Canada and internationally until further notice.

March 13:
CSI released an email announcing exam cancellations as of March 16.

March 6:
Notice on the CSI website to students to declare exposure to or symptoms of Covid-19 to sit in-person exams.

In light of the pandemic and recommended social distancing, CSI staff are working from home. We are also leveraging the best resources and technology to provide you with uninterrupted service and learning experience while being safe. Please note that we have temporarily suspended all payments through Certified cheques and Money Orders until further notice owing to the COVID-19 lockdown. We are only accepting payment via major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and AmericanExpress. Since the CSI staff is working remotely, we request that you do not send any documentation or forms via fax, courier or postal mail.
